My Coffee Journey
Normally, I just upload stories, but I thought it’s time to document my experiences in writing.
In the past two months (March 17 - May 17), I’ve enjoyed exploring different coffee beans and brewing methods. Here’s a rundown of my coffee consumption:
Beans:
-
200g Robusta (origin unknown)
-
200g Arabica Bali
-
4pcs Aceh Gayo drip
-
3x 80g Liong
Brewing gear:
-
V60 from OneTwo Cups (my go-to)
-
Mokapot from Conalli (still searching for the perfect setting)
-
Vietnam Drip from OneTwo Cups (not my favorite)
-
Goose kettle (aluminum, Chinese brand)
Honestly, V60 has been my reliable choice, producing consistently good cups.
Mokapot’s still a work in progress; I haven’t nailed the perfect brewing settings yet, but it turns out this method works best with medium grind size.
Vietnam Drip, unfortunately, didn’t impress me.
Each bean brought unique flavors, but the brewing method made all the difference. What’s your favorite coffee setup?
